One Hundred Thousand Welcomes to How's the Craic. We hope that you will
enjoy your visit and return often. This is an Irish / American site with
a special interest in County Donegal and more specifically the island
of Arranmore (Árainn Mhór) where both of the author's grandparents were born and later
married. It is our hope to keep you informed of the "Craic"
relating to Arranmore and its present and past inhabitants and the island
of Ireland off the east coast of Arranmore. So sit back and browse. Don't
forget to let us know, How's The Craic?
An Irish Prayer
May those that love us, love us
And those that don't love us
May God turn their hearts;
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May He turn their ankles
So we'll know them by their limping.
" There are no strangers here; Only friends you haven't yet met.
"
- William Butler Yeats -
Árainn Mhór / Arranmore / Aran
